Common questions
How much does a concrete marquee weight weigh?
Our blocks come in 40kg and 100kg, sold in sets, plus a 1000kg single block for heavy-duty ballast. As a rule, heavier and more numerous weights give a safer hold in exposed or windy conditions.
How many weights do I need per gazebo or marquee leg?
It depends on the structure size and how exposed the site is. As a starting point many event users allow one 40kg block per leg for a small gazebo, and more for larger marquees or open ground. Send us the details and we will advise.
Can I use these for temporary fencing and Heras panels?
Yes. The blocks work as ballast for temporary fence feet, hoarding and site perimeter panels, and as counterweight for signage and barriers. See the temporary fencing page for the recommended setup.
Do you deliver, and can I buy in bulk?
We deliver on pallets across the UK mainland and supply everything from single blocks to full pallets at trade quantities. Request a quote with your postcode and volume for a delivered price.
Are the blocks reusable and suitable for outdoor storage?
They are. Solid concrete stands up to being left outdoors year round and stacks for tidy storage between uses, so one set of blocks lasts across many jobs.
