Temporary Fencing & Heras Panel Weights
UK-cast concrete ballast that holds temporary fence panels, Heras runs and hoarding steady, on any surface and in any weather. Drop a block over each foot and the line stays put.

Ballast for temporary fence lines
A run of temporary fencing is only as steady as its feet. On soft ground you can pin it, but on hard standing, car parks and paved sites you cannot, so each foot needs a dead weight sat on it. A concrete block gives that hold the moment it lands.
- Sits over the foot of Heras panels, hoarding and barrier bases to stop them lifting or walking.
- Works on any surface, from grass to tarmac to block paving.
- Stack for exposed runs where wind load on the panels is higher.
- Weatherproof and reusable, so one set of blocks moves site to site for years.
Where fencing ballast is used
- Heras panel feet on hard standing
- Site perimeter fencing and hoarding
- Event and crowd-control fence lines
- Traffic-management and road barrier feet
- Construction site security fencing
- Car park and forecourt boundary lines

Which weight for fencing
The 40kg block is the everyday choice for fence and Heras feet, carried by hand and dropped straight over the foot. For long or exposed runs, step up to heavier blocks or use more per foot. See every weight, set size and price on the products page.
Where else these blocks work
The same block anchors plenty of other jobs. If it needs holding down or counterbalancing, there is a weight for it.

Common questions
What weights do you use for temporary fencing?
A concrete block sat over each fence foot is the standard way to ballast temporary fencing on hard ground. The 40kg block suits most Heras and barrier feet, with heavier blocks or more per foot on long or exposed runs where wind load on the panels is higher.
Do the blocks fit Heras panel feet?
Yes. The block sits over or alongside the panel foot to weight it down, so the run holds its line without staking into the ground. For an unusual foot or base, send us a photo and we will confirm the fit.
How many weights do I need per panel?
As a starting point, one block per foot on a sheltered site, stepping up on exposed or high-panel runs. The right figure depends on panel height, infill and wind exposure, so for a specific site send the details and we will advise.
Can I use them on tarmac and hard standing?
Yes, that is exactly where they earn their place. Where you cannot drive a stake in, a dead weight is the only way to hold the fence, and concrete gives a fixed hold the moment it is placed.
Do you deliver, and can I buy in bulk?
We deliver on pallets across the UK mainland and supply everything from a single set to full pallets at trade quantities. Request a quote with your postcode and the number you need for a delivered price.
